Consultations with photographer to discuss your wedding day plans and how we can best work with you on the day. 

Photographers services for 3 hours including travel time from Taupo base, 100 photographs to view on digital photo frame plus online viewing available of photographs taken for 6 months for you and your guests via password.

Albums and extra time can be added to this bespoke package.

Out of area (Taupo) wedding prices for travel etc, can be arranged and agreed prior to wedding date.  Please give us call.

To help you with an understanding of the happy and friendly professional service offered by Catch the Moment on your special Wedding Day, we are delighted to provide you with this list of frequently asked questions and our responses.

 

How qualified are you to take our wedding photographs?

 

I am a long time accredited member of the WIPM (World Institute of Photographic Masters) and the SWPP (Society of Wedding Portrait Photographers) with eight years of professional experience in wedding photography both here and in the UK.  And while I take all of the formal photographs, my assistant with 4 years of experience will be looking for the opportunity of ‘catching the moment’ with photographs of all the guests as they arrive plus, pictures of the happy couple and guests from interesting positions and different angles to make the memories of the special day last forever.

 

How many photographs do you take?

 

With the aid of 3 digital SLR cameras, it is now easy to take anything from 100 – 600 photographs in the belief that the more we take the better chance we get of making the special shot... just that bit better.  In so many cases we have found that the relaxed shot after the formal shot can make a purely magical photograph for you to treasure, so we catch them all.

We provide you with a wish list for all of the photographs you may wish to be taken on the day, however if you have that special shot in mind for either the Bride or Groom, then just let us know and I’m sure we can oblige.

 

What is the extent of the Catch the Moment service?

 

Okay, this is really up to you!  We simply love going to weddings and like to be part of the special day with you, so once our contract has been signed we would be delighted to assist you in any way we can.  This can be from using our extensive experience at the planning stage or if you prefer, just turning up on the day to take the photographs of your choice.  Typically our first shots are of the bride getting ready and last shots are of the wedding cake being cut.

 

What happens if it rains?

 

Who wants it to rain on your wedding day?  But sadly we know it can, so if the weather is looking suspect then we can visit the venue with you to discuss the best location for the shots of your choice.  We like to plan for the worst then keep our fingers crossed with you for the best!

 

How and when can we see the photographs that have been taken?

 

Ah... the question that get’s asked the most on the day by the guests.  Typically we have the pictures put on our website four working days after the wedding and protected by password.  The password will be given on the day of the wedding with the photographs being available for you and all of the guests to see and purchase as is their want.

 

How long are the photographs online?

 

We will keep the photographs online for 6 months.  But we keep cd copies here for up to 18 months, there would be a charge if reprints are required after a year  on file.
